Peer Ministers and Coordinators are called to respond to their baptismal vows, faith, the Gospel, the presence of God, and the local church on Western’s campus in ministering to their fellow students and all who share in their faith community.
Peer Ministry…
Peer Ministry is a 10 month program of ministerial leadership. A peer minister is an extension of the campus minister and Chaplain and shares in the campus ministry. A peer minister not only does the meaningful tasks already established in a given ministry, but are also asked to develop his/her own talents. The peer minister is someone who not only possesses the talents, but is encouraged (enabled) to use those talents in developing their ministry.
Coordinators…
There will be several Coordinator positions available for next year that will need key volunteers (XL dorm group leaders, CAST and Lighthouse Mission coordinators etc.). The coordinators enable NCCM to offer an even wider range of events, faith formation, service opportunities, and more! The coordinators play a vital role in the ministry of the NCCM community!
